Frequently Asked Salon and Spa Questions...
What’s the difference between a trim and a haircut?
A: There is no difference. Whether 1/4" or 4" is cut, the service is the same.
What does the different level of hairstylists mean?
A: The years of experience and training at St. Cyr, not necessarily years of experience as a hairstylist.
How long does my hair need to be to be waxed?
A: At least a 1/4 of an inch.
What’s the difference between a Spa Color and a One Process?
A: A "single process" involves the application of one color or toner to achieve an all over color. There may be some dimension, or contrast, in the color depending upon the type of color used and the existing color of the hair. A Spa Color is $20 add on service to any color. It is a deep clarifying treatment done before a color to remove impurities, minerals, chlorine and product build up.
What percentage is usually customary for gratuity?
A: Most clients use the same guidelines as in restaurants for their stylist and $2.00-$3.00 for the shampoo person.
Can I put the total amount of my services including gratuity on my credit card as one total sum?
A:
Yes, you can. Our Millennium Salon software and register system tracks customer payments and tips and prints out a thank you at the end of their evening with the amount for each technician.
What’s your cancellation policy?
A: A 24-hour cancellation or rescheduling notification is required to avoid being responsible for cost of session.
What if I’m running late?
We book appointments in time increments based on the services you have requested. If you are having a haircut and blow dry at 10:00, we’ve scheduled 45 minutes for you to receive this service. At 10:45 another client will be arriving for their services. Being late only adds pressure to the stylist who wants to provide you with the best service possible. In some cases, if you are more than 10 minutes late, we may ask you to switch to another stylist who can provide you the time your services require, or you may have to reschedule to another day.
